PFS camp in Russia

   Pro Futuro Sports (PFS) - organization which helps young basketball players entry the US schools and universities to develop their basketball skills and receive American education. Organization provides participants with NCAA coaches. How does the system of PFS works? Special camps in all parts of the world are organized for young athletes. This is a very good example how sport can be useful and change people's lives.

  I want to tell you about Pro Futuro Sports Camp in Russia, Moscow on ninth of January. PFS invited NCAA coach – Dajan Matić. Training sessions went really well, NCAA is the strongest university league in the world, because level of university basketball in the US is very high, that’s why Mr. Dajan maintained a high level of training on camp.

  Training sessions were divided into two parts: theoritical and practical. Theoritical part included watching replays of professional NBA games, with deep analyzing of core and useful moments of games, and also building stratagies based on these replays. Practical part included physical preparation in gym and completing special exercises for dribbling, shooting the ball and how to deffend and attack without breaking the rules.
  
  On those camps there are scouts from American universeties, who are receiving whole statistics on each player and they can make influence on decision of picking player to American university team. Also, Dajan Matić left his comments on the level of young basketball players in Russia, and he focused on the one key point, that students in American schools learn such basketball techniques at the age of 8, which Russian students are learning at the age of 14-15, also he said that during Moscow camp, he saw guys with nice body shapes to make them professional basketball players, but they need special individual training sessions to catch up American students concerning basketball skills.

 Positive impact of sport on children  If to talk about advantages of sport, we need to talk about youth and positive impact on it, because, maybe, these words can arrange the youth to do sports and regular exercises, because only 50% are doing it  (Prevention, 2018) . Children are doing better than adults, because deep research showed that 42% of children reach norm in exercises, when only 8% do it  (Troiano, 2008) .   Sport makes children do exercise, burn calories, reduce percentage of fat in their bodies and increase level of motor skills, which will help them in future – in studying, working or travelling. “ Data from the Centers for Disease Control 2005 Youth Risk Behaviour Survey demonstrated that frequent vigorous activity reduces the risk of feelings of hopelessness and suicidal tendencies in both males and females ”  (Donna, 2013) .
